:to cherish a desire with anticipation

Who doesn't love the word "hope?" We all need it. When you're at the end of your rope and someone says the word "hope" to you, you start to feel so much better. You can't but feel better when that word is uttered. There's nothing like hope. I'm pretty thankful for it.
